IP Cam Viewer Pro App Reviews

Just downloaded the update!!! Doesnt work at all. I want my money back!!!! :-( If I could rate at zero stars I would. How does Apple let POS apps like this in the app store.

It worked for a few months and then all the cameras views turned completely black. There is no problem with the signal coming from the cameras as the "test" button showed no error and I can see all the cameras through Internet Explorer. It just does not work with this App. Have they updated their version lately and caused the problem. It is too bad that I cannot go back to the earlier version.

This has been my favourite amera app but Im having issues with the audio since all the updates.

Garbage do not waste your money.No support on set up just gives answers by directing you to question and answers.

Every 30 seconds or so the cam feed freezes/cuts out for about 5 seconds. It doesnt do that while Im logged into the web view. In fact its much smoother on web view as well. I like the design of the app and the features, but for a pay app Im disappointed with the quality. Other than that it works as expected.

This is a very nice app but there should be a help file or a manual on how to set the application up to get the most out of it. Can we connect to USB Web cameras which are connected to other computers? Thanks, Jacques

Things went well since first installing until........I shut the system down to change out my UPS and the camera feed IP was lost and unable to reconnect. With the modem/ router powered down a new IP was assigned but cant seem to access it on my iPad??? Help!

App works great for the dlink, public cameras and acti. The acti B96 Ptz control is neat!

No issues. Once setup was complete, I simply put audio on automatic listen and now I have a perfect app to monitor all my cameras. Not even the manufacturers iOS software can compare to this brilliant code. Many thanks guys and keep up the great work. May I suggest a future addition of a background monitoring app feature where the app sends a notification to you based on audio of a certain level received instead of only motion (for baby monitors).

None of the DLink apps work with my old DCS-932 IP Camera. The IP Camera Viewer works fine. First, I did a test with the lite version and everything was working. I did not hesitate to purchase the full version. Setup is a breeze. I did not used the scan feature. Ive setup my camera manually specifying the IP address, username and password. Was working few seconds later. The connection is also very fast. Congratulation! Thank you for this app...

I bought this app after purchasing two of the highest rated IP cameras on amazon, the Hikvision 2cd-2332 camera, only I found out after installing that most hikvision models are not supported. I was able to get it to work (sorta) by selecting another hikvision model but the stream is much very choppy (1 frame per second) so its not useful. I also downloaded the hikvision free app and it was able to handle my main stream just fine so I assume my camera is not compatible. It would be great if the deb could add support, if you search IP cameras in amazon mine is one of highest rated most purchased camera. Thanks

Very bad! Save your money

Of the many, many ip cam apps Ive tried over the last few years, this one is about the best Ive found. Easy to set up and full of features. The mass action feature is awesome ! Well worth the few dollars for the pro version..

Its a good app, better than Dlink official app when I use my Dlink DCS-5020L. However, I only can choose 502x model, and mic cant work 2-way mode. It will be better if it can like owls app that can setup one device with internal and external IP and port, then it can switch ip automatically. Right now, I must setup two devices, one is called internal, another is called external.

App scans with the correct IP and port but does not recognize my Foscam cameras or NVR.

This Apps is better than the app supplied by the camera vendor. I am also impressed with frequent update to support more and more camera models. My camera has pan/tilt control but when I first purchased this apps, it does not support it. But with this latest update, it now supports my exact camera model and hence pan/tilt from this apps.
